Triple Challenge

Oyy, I haven't been doing so hot this week with getting things up here in a more timely manner.  I was doing so good for a while there, too.  Nevertheless, I have at last got a card for today!  And it's a triple challenge.

I won't lie, this card was a bit of a pill to make.  I decided after I'd already stuck down the DSP that it needed something else to go behind the circle punch, so I had to mask the DSP before I started sponging and stamping.  My Baja Breeze ink pad was in need of a refill too so the background coral isn't 100% there, but it kind of works for that bit of the card.  I did hunt up my ink refill though for the sand dollar because it was getting overpowered by the plum starfish.  Still is, even though the sand dollar is popped up and has the pearl accent.  Ehh.  At that point I'd already stamped and cut out four images from By the Seashore so I just decided to stick a fork in it and call it done.

I've been meaning to get to last week's Sketch Frenzy Friday challenge all week and just managed to squeeze it in before the next sketch goes up tomorrow.  Here's the sketch:

And here's the Fab Friday color combo, also at the eleventh hour as the next challenge posts tomorrow as well:

And the third challenge is Still Addinktive's Spot that Stamp Set, to use By the Seashore or By the Tide.  I used both so I'm awarding myself extra points :)

Here's a bonus for you if you're still with me at this point:  a very fast baby card.

Out of curiosity, I timed myself and had this one done in about 7 minutes.  Would have been under five, but several of the toes didn't show up on my stamped image as well as I wanted them to, so I had to touch up with a blender pen.  This is for the very lovely lady who cuts my hair, and is expecting her second boy to arrive soon--I whipped up this card really fast this morning and then ran up to the salon to give her a little gift (baby booties my mom crocheted) as the salon was having a shower for her today.  So yep, there it is.

Thanks for stopping by!
