The Easter Bunny

I was looking through my SU catalog recently and a particular card caught my eye--it's on page 178.  I thought the layout was a great way to use a smaller stamped image, so I had to CASE it, and here's the result:

Yep, I cut the bunny out of the Ears to You stamp.  I'm trying very hard to ignore the part where my greeting is a little crooked...I use the SAMJ *all the time* but for some reason I still have trouble with those itty bitty sentiment stamps being crooked.  But everything else was already stuck down so I'm trying to convince myself that the crooked sentiment adds handmade charm.  Right?!

The pretty springy color combo is courtesy of Create with Connie and Mary:

I like Summer Starfruit okay, but I still miss my Crushed Curry from a couple years ago.  I'm starting to wonder what we'll get in the next batch of In Colors this summer, I'm sure there will be something I'll love!

ETA:  What a coinky-dink, this also works for the just-posted SUO challenge to make a spring/Easter card.  I spy some more Ears to You bunnies on their challenge post too.  :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies (all SU!):
Stamps:  Ears to You, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink:  Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple
Paper:  Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, Whisper White, In Color DSP Stack
Accessories:  Apothecary Accents Framelits, Neutrals brads

  1. lol...I had to laugh at your comment about the greeting. I try to convince myself that the camera will make it look straight if I shoot it at an angle. I've been using the single bunny a lot lately, too! Darling layout! Thanks for playing along with the color challenge this week on Create with Connie and Mary!

  3. This is absolutely darling, and I didn't notice the slightly off-kilter greeting (too busy looking at the bunny) until you mentioned it! Thanks for joining us this week at SUO Challenges.

  5. I always joke that if something is stamped crooked, give it to someone who is a little crooked - lol! Seriously tho, it really is an adorable card! Thanks for joining us this week at Create with Connie and Mary!

  8. Love that little bunny. Like Narelle said, we don't have it in the South Pacific - pout! I so related to your comment about the sentiments. Even with the SAMJ I can still get it crooked! This is a great card - love the layout! Thanks so much for joining us this week at Create with Connie & Mary.

  12. You did a wonderful job of hiding the "crooked" greeting! If you had not said something...I would never have known! Cute card! Thanks for playing the Create with Connie & Mary challenge this week!
