Birthday Bash

It is all gray and overcast here--and actually cold, for a wonder--so today I bring you a very BRIGHT and summery card to counteract the winter chill.  Behold!

(ignore the part where the main image stamp is slightly crooked) Meet Big Day, one of the stamp sets available only during Sale-a-Bration.  There are five stamps in the set, and I managed to use every one of them on this card.

The candle is a separate stamp from the cake, so you can make it have as many or as few candles as you like.  I used my blender pen to color in the images a little bit.  I love that Birthday Bash DSP, such fun colors, and that particular pattern reminds me of birthday candles.

I also used the current sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday:

Somehow I missed that white ribbony layer, oops.  Other than that, and moving the main image panel up a bit, I was fairly true to the sketch.

That's it for me, folks.  I've got to catch up on last night's episode of NCIS :)  Cheers!

Supplies, all SU!
Stamps:  Big Day
Ink:  Night of Navy, Tangerine Tango, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral
Paper:  Tangerine Tango, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Birthday Bash Specialty DSP
Accessories:  Word Bubble & Starburst Framelits, circle punch, scallop border punch, Dimensionals

  1. I thought, "Oh, she could add little candle flames here and there if she wanted to (on the paper). Cute, cute and I love the colors. Very cheerful card. Great job!
