Happy Friday, peeps! Welcome to the first Friday Flashback of the new year...well, last Friday was a flashback of a different sort :) Anywha, today's featured stamp set is Friendship Blooms, which was a Sale-a-Bration set back in 2008. And today's flashback will be on the short side.
Also in 2008, SU! released some rub-ons that coordinated with Friendship Blooms, which is what I used on this card and apparently I never actually used the stamp set. That is, until today!
I think that sentiment is sweet. And I do really like that flourish with the flowers on it, so I will keep this stamp set in mind when I work on scrapbook pages.
My color combo today is courtesy of The Color Throwdown:
Nice new challenge graphic by the way, guys! Your site update looks really spiffy. I interpreted these colors as Baja Breeze, Sahara Sand, and Peach Parfait. I miss Baja Breeze and Peach Parfait. SU!, please don't ever retire Sahara Sand or we'll have words.
The sketch is from Mojo Monday:
Confession time: somehow I copied down the sketch as more square than regular A2 size, so that's why my card is square. Which is weird because I almost never make square cards! Oh well, what can ya do.
Have a fabulous weekend, y'all!
Supplies, last card only:
Stamps: Friendship Blooms
Ink: Basic Black, Baja Breeze
Paper: Peach Parfait, Baja Breeze, Thick Whisper White (how do I love this stuff! Let me count the ways), Sahara Sand & Basic Black DSP
Accessories: Circles Framelits, Rhinestones, Dimensionals
What a sweet Flashback Friday card! Love how you used the colors! Thank you so much for sharing with us at the Color Throwdown this week!
