Midnight & Luna for The Paper Players

Happy Sunday, y'all!  Which means it's time for a new challenge from The Paper Players.  I hope you enjoyed Ann's landscape theme last week, the gallery was just beautiful!  This week, our lovely Jan has a color challenge for us:

I have been deeeeep into fall and Halloween mode lately so these colors threw me for a bit of a loop, but I had pulled out a bunch of Halloween stamp sets for other projects and that's when I spied Midnight and Luna:

This is a Sweet November stamp set I bought last year and hadn't used yet, which is exactly why I do the Halloween Hex-Travaganza so I can bring out all my Halloween goodies to play with every year.  And also maybe I buy MORE Halloween goodies every year!  Anyway, I wanted them to be on an Azure Afternoon evening sky and I found a scrap of the blue paper from the Lights of Aurora DSP Stack and started my card there.  The green is another scrap from the Artistry Blooms DSP because sometimes I make it an extra challenge to use up scraps.

Check out the other design team creations on the Paper Players blog, and you can hop through their individual blogs to leave some comments too:

  1. Christy, such a great use of the colors this week. What a fun little halloween scene! I can only imagine what the cat and the bat are saying to each other. Oh, I love the little star additions, too

  5. Very cute with an awesome sentiment. What I really love is the layout with the panel going from top to bottom of the card with no margin - genius. Thank you for putting such a different spin on my colours. I'm enjoying your extravaganza of Halloween creations, even if I don't quite understand the hype around the date! Keep 'em rolling! :-)

  7. Totally unexpected use of these colors and I think it is soo fabulous, Christy! Super cute mini scene and great sentiment. I went on a Halloween shopping spree this year and am scrambling to use as much as possible. I like your idea of the Halloween Hex-Travaganza, a great way to work through that stash!
