A Fabulous (I Hope) Sketch for The Paper Players

Goooood morning stampy friends!  It's Sunday, which means it's Paper Players day!  I hope you enjoyed Stef's awesome autumn challenge, it's by far my favorite season so the gallery was an extra treat for my eyes : )  I am the host for this month's sketch challenge (probably my favorite type of challenge!), and here it is:

I based this sketch on a Nancy Drew card I made quite some time ago (back when I was in the single digits for the books!), so here's my new card:

Yep, I'm back to pumpkins, but this time I'm blaming it on the Just Us Girls challenge:

I only have like three sets of stencils and Painted Pumpkins is one of them, and this gave me an excuse to play with a different pattern from the coordinating paper so here we are back in the pumpkin patch.  I find it funny and ironic that none of the cards I posted yesterday had anything pumpkin-related on them, for the first time in a week, but that's the day that we went out to the pumpkin patch in real life so I was still staring at pumpkins.  Ha!

Check out the other design team creations on the Paper Players blog, and you can hop through their individual blogs to leave some comments too:

3.  Please link your card to no more than four challenges, TOTAL

Christy, I love that background paper - and your stenciled pumpkins. The turquoise adds a wonderful touch of brightness and I love the non-traditional color touches. hugs

More magnificent pumpkins! I like the paper in the background - I thought maybe you'd woven the paper from strips to begin with. Anyway, it makes a funky background. :-)

Christy, this is such a fun card! The pumpkins are delightful and look perfect with the two dsp designs that you used. I like the unexpected colors and the fun pattern in the background. Thanks for the great sketch, it's a classic and a keeper for sure!
