A Brace of Bunnies

Mornin' y'all and happy Friday!  At long last, Ryan's tooth came out last night--a full week after all the drama started with it wiggling so much that he couldn't hardly eat.  Pretty sure that kid has more holes than teeth at the moment!

Anyway, with Easter so close I just had to squeeze in a couple more bunny cards, take a look:

I thought of this sweet bunny in Easter Friends as soon as I saw the Just Add Ink challenge:

I inked up the bunny stamp with VersaMark, then Pebbled Path, and stamped it on my cardstock, and then I embossed with clear powder so I could watercolor without it bleeding.  I thought of the Stitched So Sweetly dies as soon as I saw the sketch at Atlantic Hearts:

And all the pretty yellows in the Floral Delight DSP brought my card together quick like a bunny : )  Except for the sentiment part, actually.  I spent over 20 minutes looking through my enormous stamp library for a good sentiment to put on there and finally decided on ribbon instead and put a sentiment from Easter Friends on the inside of the card.  And of course that stamp set was sitting on my table the entire time I was searching all my other stamp sets.

I have a bonus bunny card:

I wanted to see how she would look in Pecan Pie.  What do you think, Pebbled Path or Pecan Pie for this sweet bun-bun?  I like them both.

Anyway, time to get Ryan off to school and hope they don't do an early dismissal because of SNOW.  Yes, snow.  Again!  On the up side, that means I will be drinking lots of tea today and it's hard to have a bad day with a cuppa tea in hand.  Ha!  Cheers, y'all!

Supplies, all SU!
Stamps:  Easter Friends
Ink:  Pebbled Path, Pecan Pie, Old Olive (on the inside)
Paper:  Pebbled Path, Pecan Pie, Thick Basic White, Floral Delight DSP
Accessories:  Stitched So Sweetly dies, Clear EP, Old Olive polytwill ribbon

Such an adorable card! I love how bright and fresh it is, and the darker bunny really pops off the page. Thanks so much for joining us at Just Add Ink.

If I had made this card, I would definitely have chosen to use Pecan Pie ... but I actually prefer the grey bunny - go figure! Both totally cute though. Hooray for the tooth - that will make eating Easter eggs easier I'm sure! Also, remind me if I ever move to the states to avoid your part of the world - Sooooo much snow!!!!!

I love this bunny image, and the paper! I agree i like the grey bunny just a bit better, the contrast is very nice to me. The stiched rectangle is perfect for this sketch. Thankyou for joining us at Atlantic Hearts sketch challenge.
