Today's card has lots and lots of hearts because a.) it's February, b.) I needed an anniversary card for my friend who got married on Valentine's Day, and c.) I just got the Hearts Framelits and I can't resist playing with new toys.
Ok, so this was based on an old SCS sketch challenge, one that I've been dreading in my quest to finish them all because it had a gabillion layers on it and I just kind of really didn't like the sketch at all. I'd been putting it off till now because I couldn't figure out what to do with all the circle layers, 'till I changed 'em to hearts and then I think it worked. It's a lot of patterns too but I think maybe it's not too busy? I sponged Early Espresso ink around the hearts to give them a bit of definition. Totally loving the Hearts Framelits and wondering why I didn't order them a long time ago. Well, I've fixed that problem now : )
The color combo is from ColourQ and that wreath looks so cute I kinda want to eat it. Is that weird?
Ok, maybe I'll settle for some heart-shaped chocolate candy instead. Milk chocolate, not dark chocolate. None of that pseudo-healthy stuff for me, ha!
Thanks for stopping by today! Now let's all go eat some chocolate.

Cute! I saw your entry over at cQc and had to click over because you're Christy S and I'm Christy Q. I've also seen your name in a few other challenges I've entered so it's nice to "meet" another Christy! Love what you did with the hearts framelits and your friend will love the anniversary card and the thought behind it!
Great anniversary card. I love the differnet patterned papers you used. Thanks so much for joining us this week at the ColourQ.
This is great!! I love the different patterns you used with each heart!
