A Touch of Gold

Mornin' y'all, and it's been a busy one.  Ryan is home sick from school, the hubs probably *should* have stayed home, and I'm thinking a nap is in my near future as I'm not feeling quite the thing either...but Daphne says she's just fine.  Lucky dog.

But I do still have a card to share today:

I kept coming back to the flowers in the bottom center of the graphic, blue with a touch of gold in the center, so that's what I based my card on.  I embossed the flowers with gold and the pearls are gold too, not sure they show true to life in the picture.

I took Ryan to urgent care this morning since he sounds like a Victorian child with consumption.  He acts like he doesn't feel too bad though:

He got that duckling onesie for his birthday and would wear it 24/7 if I let him; I just didn't make him change clothes before we went.  He's tested negative for flu, covid, and RSV, so it's just something else that's going around and he'll be on cough medicine until he stops wheezing so much.  I got him some Jello at the store, I think he'll be just fine.
