Retro Style

Hey hey, stampy friends!  I had a good birthday yesterday.  Spent hours in my craft room working on a few cards and some scrapbook pages while also doing laundry, because laundry waits for no man :p  The hubs brought home my favorite pizza for me (pineapple and black olive) and we had cake and ice cream too.  Anyway, I do have a card to share today!

The Pattern of Friendship stamp set popped in my head immediately when I saw the Retro Rubber challenge:

I used pastel pink, pastel yellow, and I'm counting Pool Party as a soft turquoise.  I dug up a pair of Stampin' Blends that *claims* to be Pink Pirouette, but when I colored in the lady's dress on the left it looked much more like Blushing Bride to me, so that's what I used for the sentiment circle.  My SIL adores mid-century modern stuff and 50s-style clothes, so I think I know where this card is going :)  Oh yes, my stamp set is super retro:  I got Pattern of Friendship in 2006 so it's probably 13.5 years old now.

Cheers, y'all!
