Mirror Sketch from SUO Challenges

Mornin' y'all!  I thought I was going to have this post up earlier this morning, but I forgot about the awards assembly at Ryan's school and I had to go to that.  But we have a new sketch at SUO Challenges for you today!

I decided to let the DSP do the heavy lifting for me today and I have a new pack that I hadn't cut into yet because Joanne kept making such pretty things with it and then I had to buy it.  So here is my Lovely Blossoms card:

The main image is cut from the DSP, and then I used the Modern Oval punch to do the green patterns and even though I LOOKED at the sketch while I was making this I STILL got the ovals backwards from the sketch.  I'm sketch dyslexic!  That's a special kinda special right there.  Anyway, I had pretty much forgotten about that oval punch until I looked at the shape on the DSP so I'm glad to have a use for it here.  I used an old favorite retired die set for the sentiment, Stitched So Sweetly--retired products are A-OK for SUO Challenges, just make sure it's all Stampin' Up!

Check out what my teamies did with this sketch (and I just realized I am not the only one who got the shapes backwards, haha!) and then upload your own creation at the SUO Challenges blog.  And it's totally fine if you do a mirror image of the sketch, like I did.  Or rotate it for a landscape card instead of portrait.  Have fun!

Supplies, all SU!
Stamps:  Terrific Toadstools
Ink:  Secret Sea
Paper:  Cloud Cover, Thick Basic White, Lovely Blossoms DSP
Accessories:  Modern Oval punch, Muted Palette Glossy Dots, Mini Dimensionals

First things first: sorry not sorry you had to buy that paper lol!! Secondly - love this card! The punch compliments that DSP shape outline perfectly - and is a great take on the sketch! I love that layout so will do my best to play along with that one, albeit via my socials :-/ Can't wait to see what else you make with that paper!!

Your cards are always so perfectly put together! I didn't do my corners right, either.
