Mornin'! It's China Sunday, but as it happens I have already shared the next several layouts in the China books so today it's all reruns. But I like these pages so we're doing it anyway!
First up are two layouts for the golf cart tour.
That color combination of Pool Party, Tranquil Tide, and Powder Pink is one of my favorites. Love it!
Next up is the Merge, which is apparently what happens when two dudes accidentally share a drink (and then the hubs caught Bennet's cold).
And last up is the light show Illuminations that we went to that night. So the river cruise (see the layouts here and here), golf cart tour, stop at McDonald's, and the light show were all on the same very busy day. Next weekend I have a new layout to share, but for now I'm going to go play with the tiny child for a bit. Cheers!
See the blog posts linked above for supply lists. :)

Friday Flashback: Starburst Sayings
Happy Friday! It is time once more for the Friday Flashback, and today's featured stamp set is Starburst Sayings, which seems kinda appropriate to kick off the 4th of July weekend. So let's take a whirl through the archives, and if all you want to see is today's new card then scroll to the bottom :)
Starting off with this lovely map card. I wish that SU! had done some more stamp sets (or even just one more!) to coordinate with the Starburst dies before they retired them all, but oh well.
That little starburst stamp on the left is covering up a booboo on the embossing powder at the bottom of the H :)
Ahh, my favorite stamp from this set. What's not to love about a giant Happy Day stamp!
Though apparently that little starburst stamp is the runner-up for favorite stamp from Starburst Sayings.
Works on any color combination!
And lots of different card layouts.
This is quite possibly my favorite card in the history of ever. The inside says "You know the rest!" and I sent it to my dad :D
And here's a little lumberjack thank you card.
Last one, another brightly-colored thank you card. Now for today's new creation!
My SIL's birthday is on July 5th, so I'm going to send this out to her ASAP for her birthday. Hey, it looks like this is the first time I used the little celebrate stamp so woohoo for me! The fireworks and star stamps are from a stamp set called July Fourth.
And I stamped on the inside of the card too. My patriotic color combo is courtesy of Fab Friday:
And of course I re-used the Freshly Made Sketch that I used yesterday:
And that's it for today. See you back here tomorrow for another baby book layout :)
Supplies, last card only:
Stamps: Starburst Sayings, July Fourth, Happy Happenings
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Pacific Point, Night of Navy, Real Red
Paper: Temping Turquoise, Night of Navy, Pacific Point, Shimmery White, Whisper White (just for the inside)
Accessories: Starburst Framelits, Dimensionals
Also features World Map
Also features Perfectly Penned
Also features Something to Say

Nacho Blog Hop: All About the Birthdays
ACK! What with all the excitement over my niece's arrival yesterday (HELLO CLARA NICOLE!!) I almost forgot to write up my Nacho post! So yep, today's Friday Flashback is being preempted by the April Nacho blog hop, which is all about birthdays! And who doesn't love birthday cards?
Just to give myself a bit of an extra challenge. I made three birthday cards but used the same color combination for all of them: Melon Mambo, Cucumber Crush, Daffodil Delight, and Bermuda Bay. Love me some bold, bright colors.
First up is this kinda CAS star card. The Cucumber Crush star is die cut and popped up on Dimensionals, and it's also sparkly:
OooooOOOOooohhh. Iridescent Ice FTW. Woohoo!
Supplies, all SU!
Stamps: Be the Star, Party Wishes
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay, Versamark
Paper: Thick Whisper White
Accessories: Stars Framelits, Dimensionals, Brights Candy Dot, Iridescent Ice EP
Next up, we can't have a birthday party without CAKE! Wanna know how I got the texture effect on the cake? I inked up the stamp with Melon Mambo, and then used a blender pen to swipe off some of the ink, then stamped the image. However I got left with a TON of Melon Mambo ink on my blender pen, so I might try it with a Q-Tip instead next time.
Supplies, all SU!
Stamps: Party Wishes, Something to Say
Ink: Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay
Paper: Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay, Thick Whisper White, Brights DSP (Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo)
Accessories: Lots of Labels Framelits, Oval & Scalloped Oval punches, Brights Candy Dots, Dimensionals
And finally, here's a card that's a little fancier...well, the stamped images are fancier, the layout is super simple to keep focus on the hummingbird. That's right, I *finally* used the hummingbird stamps in Picture Perfect!!! This card is 5.5" square. The birthday greeting is from the freshly retired Sale-a-Bration set Sky is the Limit, but it was the perfect size and the perfect font for my card so I had to use it.
Supplies, all SU!
Stamps: Picture Perfect, Sky is the Limit
Ink: Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight
Paper: Cucumber Crush, Thick Whisper White, Cherry on Top DSP Stack
Accessories: Circles Framelits, Dimensionals

Guilin Light Show
Day 3 of Spring Break Scrap Week! And today, we're going to China.
See the original pics here. The show was called Illuminations and was produced by the people who choreographed the opening ceremonies at the Beijing Olympics. It was really hard to capture in photographs but we tried.
Today's color palette: Taken with Teal, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Smoky Slate, and Basic Black. I used Smoky Slate for the journaling block because I thought that white would just be too bright with the dark photos.
That's it for me today, peeps. Cheers!
Supplies:
Stamps: Rough Type, Something to Say
Ink: Real Red, Memento Tuxedo Black, Basic Black
Paper: Taken with Teal, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate, Quatrefancy DSP
Accessories: Itty Bitty Punch Pack, 5/8" circle punch, lettering template

Get Well Fox and Bonus Leaves
Hey peeps! It's a busy day here in the Snapdragon house but I finally got upstairs to the computer to do this blog post! And today I have a get-well card.
One of my cousins is in the hospital right now so I thought she'd like to get some cute mail. How much do you love that woodgrain patterned paper? And the fox? And that awesome script paper that comes in every SU! color? Yep, pretty fantastic.
And this card is a triple challenge bonus, starting with Cupcake Inspiration's Forest Friends challenge:
Do foxes live in the forest? Since my fox comes from the stamp set Thankful Forest Friends, I'm going to go with a tentative yes. I used the colors from Colour Me...!
I was a really good girl too, I used only the two challenge colors plus three neutrals: Early Espresso, Soft Suede and Whisper White.
And finally I used this week's Retro Sketch:
And while I was feverishly stamping away this morning in my craft cave, I forgot I already had a card done that I could have posted today. Oops. And it needs to go in the mail like 10 days ago too because my friend's birthday was on the 8th. Double oops.
That leaf stamp is from last month's Paper Pumpkin kit and after this card but before the fox card I squished my Cajun Craze ink pad so it's now not so extra juicy that it obliterates details on the stamps. Look at the Cajun leaves on that card and then scroll back up to the fox. So much mo bettah.
And for this card I used the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch:
I love a sketch that showcases tiny image stamps, sometimes it's hard to figure out how to use those effectively.
Anyway, that's it for me today and I'll see you tomorrow, peeps! Cheers!
Supplies, fox card:
Stamps: Thankful Forest Friends, Thoughts & Prayers
Ink: Cajun Craze
Paper: Hello Honey, Early Espresso, Whisper White, Into the Woods DSP, Cajun Craze DSP
Accessories: Banners Framelits, scalloped circle punch, Dimensionals
Supplies, leaf card:
Stamps: My Paper Pumpkin September 2015, Something to Say
Ink: Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, Lost Lagoon
Paper: Whisper White
Accessories: None

Happy Nacho Day!
You know what day it is. Nacho Average Challenges Day! And this week we've got a great sketch for you:
Yep, fun. I got out one of my soon-to-be retiring favorite stamps and made this:
Tempting Turquoise is officially the last of my new ink pads to get out of the wrapper. And for some reason it doesn't seem to photograph really well; I had problems with Bermuda Bay looking really dull too, but IRL this card is bright and cheery and fun. I've got a friend who just got engaged, and another one who just told me she's having twins, so I need to make another one of these so I can send one to both ladies :) Multi-purpose congratulations card.
Check out the Nacho blog and you'll see one of my design teammates had the same idea I did...she even used the same pack of patterned paper and Tempting Turquoise for her main stamp. But our cards still look different :) Your turn next! You don't have to use Starburst Sayings, though. Cheers, peeps!
Supplies, all SU!
Stamps: Starburst Sayings, Something to Say
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Sweet Taffy DSP
Accessories: Starburst Framelits, hexagon punch, Chevron EF, Dimensionals

Congratulations Star
I am a challenge junkie because a.) it's faster (most of the time) to create when you've got a sketch and/or colors picked out for you and b.) then people come comment on my blog when I enter my cards in the challenges :)
So here's a card using a sketch that might look familiar.
I needed another patriotic congratulations card, so here it is. The hubs says he woulda liked it better without the silver glimmer paper; maybe I should have thought more guy and done brushed silver cardstock instead. It was already glued down so it's staying like it is, though :) And here's the challenge graphic from Nacho Average Challenges:
I've got a bit of a headache going on, probably because the smoke detector is beeping. Maybe I should go see if we have any extra batteries anywhere...
Cheers, peeps!
Supplies, all SU!
Stamps: Something to Say, Gorgeous Grunge
Ink: Soft Sky, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Paper: Soft Sky, Real Red, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer
Accessories: Oval & Star Framelits, hexagon punch

So Glad You're Here
It is a rainy Monday here in Alabama! I accidentally went running in it. Well, the running part was on purpose (grudgingly), but it started raining when I was halfway around. I just wish I'd been wearing anything but a white shirt :P
But anyway! I have a quick and cute card today.
I know lots of pregos so I'm sure this will come in handy pretty soon! I used the colors from the Color Throwdown:
And the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:
That's it for me today. Cheers, peeps!

Stamps: Something to Say, Petite Pairs
Ink: Pistachio Pudding, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Canteloupe

Nachos: Fall Thanks
Howdy, stamping fans! Are ya ready for a brand new sketch from Nacho Average Challenges? I like this one, I think you will too!
I like that you can make this sketch really CAS, or go wild and add a lot to it. I went more the CAS route:
I *love* it when a card takes me, like, ten minutes and I really like it when I'm done. Three stamps, one Candy Dot, and that was pretty much it! I noticed when I stamped the leaf that the rubber on my stamp has a little imperfection on it--see the nick out of the edge of the leaf on a level with the top thank you? I thought about calling SU! about it, because they'd send me a new stamp set no questions asked, but I kinda like that my leaf is a little bit different so I think I'll keep it :)
So now you know what your homework assignment is! It is back to school season, after all. Go check out the Nacho blog and then show us what you've got! I promise you get full credit just for participating :)
Fun bonus factoid for your amusement: It was on this day 14 years ago that I first met my husband when he got locked out of his apartment. Fate, I tell you. Love my honey pie.
Supplies, all SU!
Stamps: For All Things, Something to Say
Ink: Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso (kind of seriously in love with this color combo)
Paper: Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla (I think? It was in the folder with my Vanilla cardstock, but it seemed to be a little bit different texture. I don't think it's watercolor paper...)
Accessories: Regals Candy Dots, Stamp-a-Ma-Jig (which usually I don't list here, but you know I used it to line up my repeated sentiments!)

Happy Birthday Sadie
I'm so happy to be reunited with my pups! So today I'm sharing a layout from Sadie's birthday.
Sadie is the disgruntled-looking dog in the red hat. You can see the pics up close on this blog post.
And there's how I did the title, and I used the same DSP I made myself as from the layout for Vader's birthday. I actually did these layouts back-to-back so they coordinate quite a lot.
Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies, mostly SU!
Stamps: Happy Everything, Something to Say, Bow Wow
Ink: Basic Black, Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red
Paper: Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White, Good Morning Sunshine DSP
Accessories: Hexagon punch, circle punches, Scrap Pagerz Letter Template

Grateful Goodness
Howdy, folks! I was hoping to avoid this, but this will be my last week of doing a blog post every weekday...at least until we get all of our stuff unpacked in our new house in a few weeks. I have enough draft blog posts to do three posts a week, but not five :) But I'll bump it back up as soon as I can.
Today's card was one I did for a swap.
Still having fun with the new In Colors, how do you like Mossy Meadow with Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey? I used Smoky Slate for the card base just because it seemed like too much yellow to do the card base in Hello Honey.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Supplies, all SU!
Stamps: Too Kind, Something to Say
Ink: Smoky Slate, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss
Paper: Smoky Slate, Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White, Moonlight DSP

Happy Birthday Vader
Our packers arrive today so for the next little bit I'm sharing a whole lotta scrapbook pages I've made over the last few months :) And today I've got some doggy birthday pages!
I am in love with that picture of my little Vader wanting to chomp on that brownie, candle and all. You can see the original pics here.
I didn't have any good dog-themed scrapbook paper so I made my own with stamps. Hope this gave you a giggle today and have a wonderful day!
Supplies, mostly SU!

Ink: Basic Black, Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red
Paper: Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White, Good Morning Sunshine DSP

Seize the Cake
Happy new catalog day! Ready to see some new goodies?
That is a greeting I can get behind 100%. ("Seize the chocolate" would work too.) I made this for a new catty swap and used the new sentiment stamp set Something to Say and the new Moonlight DSP stack, featuring new In Colors Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon (those two are tied for my favorite) and Hello Honey (which is also nice). The swaps were card fronts but I did make one full card and decorated the inside:
Yep, I think I'll have some fun with these new colors and new stamps and new papers :D Cheers, peeps!

Cute Little Something
The new sneak peek stamp set called Something to Say has some cute greetings in it, like this one:
I stamped just the word bubble outline from Just Sayin' to give that piece a little more definition (the Just Sayin' stamp actually says "Gee, thanks" inside it, I just inked up the outline with a marker). The inside of my card has the other half of the greeting, "for your cute little someone!"
A friend of mine is pregnant with her first baby and she and her husband have decided not to find out boy/girl in advance (no way could I do that, I'd have to KNOW as soon as possible!) Anyway, she won't have the baby before hubs and I move back to the States, so I'm going to give her a neutral-colored pair of baby booties made by my mommy and this is the card to go with them.
The sketch is courtesy of Fab Friday:
That's it for me today. Cheers, peeps!
